I was a spiritual person a long time ago. When I got married, it was pushed to the back burner: kids… life happened. Now that I am back to my old self, I need direction. It is almost like I get a second start at it and feel like I am sitting at a junction now. Not sure where to go or how to start to be where I once was, so any advice would be helpful.

As you sit at this new junction, the roads before you lead down two paths. The first is to your past, and while you say you want to be where you once were, I suspect that it is not really where you want to go. Motherhood and life has taught you many lessons which you needed to learn. Now is the time to take the second road, the one that will allow you to use those lessons, and your connection to Source, to discover who you are, then continue forward onto new paths.
Though you feel like your spiritual connection was lost, it was not, for it is a part of you that can never be accidentally severed. Instead your connection has been holding the light, silently guiding you and providing strength in times of need. What you wish to do is reawaken your Divine Self, integrating it into your everyday life which is currently being lead by your Lower Self, and then handing the leadership over to your Higher Self. To do this, you must activate your connection to Source, then begin the fool’s journey toward Wisdom.
Navigating the Solar System
Sit comfortably with your eyes closed. Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Relax into in, feeling your body release tension and opening your mind-body-spirit connection to receive. With each breath, you body becomes lighter. Each breath fills your lungs with Air, bringing you in harmony with this element.
You find yourself standing on the planet of Pluto. Feel the solid rock at your feet and an icy chill in the air. It is dark, but you feel safe and secure. Before you appears a spaceship, brightly colored in Emerald flecked with Gold. Beside it stands a bearded man in profile wearing a robe of White flecked with Gold. He radiates pure Light and in his presence you feel one with this Light. He motions you closer. He has a mission for you in a Silver envelope with Sky Blue rays which he hands you. As he touches your hand, you feel a rush of light flow directly from him into you. It courses through your body, adding to your own light until you feel the distinct feeling of new awakening. You bid the man farewell and climb into your spaceship.
Within the vessel everything is new, yet strangely familiar. You open the envelope to discover you are going to Neptune. As you start the engine, you realize that this is a new version of a ship you have navigated before. The controls are the same, allowing you to take off with ease. During the trip, you entertain yourself discovering the changes to the ship from its predecessor. Old knowledge allows you to rapidly learn the new systems, filling you with a sense of purpose and joy. How you have missed this wondrous starship!
Soon the icy giant, Neptune, comes into view. You find the station and navigate a safe landing. As you exit the ship, you are met by an older man with a beard. He is wearing a robe of White flecked with Red, Blue and Yellow. He greets you with a hug. He is a man you know well; he always appears when you need inspiration and wisdom. He hands you clean clothes, a Glowing Red jumper, and a Golden Amber envelope. As the ship is cleaned and refueled, you sit and catch up, for it has been a long time since you last saw each other and there is much to talk about.
When your ship is ready, you say good-bye and climb aboard. Your visit has rekindled a deep connection you thought lost. You realize that even though you felt alone on your journey, you never were. The knowledge to travel anywhere in the Solar System to visit friends, explore new places and grow through experience resides in you, you have only to climb aboard your ship and set a course. You settle into the familiar cockpit and open the envelope. You already knew where you were going, reading it only reinforces your faith in that ever present connection. As you take off you smile broadly, happy to finally be back in the driver’s seat.
You will be guided on many journeys. May you always bring the Wisdom and Understanding learned back home to Earth.
