Greetings Gloria! Have you ever thought about living in an intentional community? There are many different kinds of communities scattered around the world. I live in one called Damanhur in Italy, http://www.damanhur.org. Intentional communities are usually built around a greater spiritual and/or ecological purpose. The people choose to be there, therefore it creates a large, extended family where we can work on our personal path as well as work together to create something greater. If you go to the Global EcoVillage Network (GEN), http://gen.ecovillage.org/, you can find more information... or of course, you can ask here. I would be happy to share my experiences living in community.

Hi Inspirationsfrombinah,
I was wondering on a similar note,, I was cruising through YouTube last night when I cam upon a song by Chic called Good Times. During the Disco Era when I used to dance to that song under flashing, surrounded by hundreds of people like a great tribe I heard the words but never really paid attention. As I listened to the song last night I remembered how it felt to be moving with so many people lost to the rhythm of the dance. During those times I was one with the universe. I was one with the people around me and my dance partner; I was one with the music and the flashing lights; I was definitely connected with everything. That is probably why I loved to dance so much. And what were the words to this song? One line-"We are the good times, leave your cares behind; these are the good times." As I look back on those times I realize that the words were true and are true.
Thanks

Can you not enjoy nature because you don't believe you have it around? Nature is all around us. It is easy to think that nature is only in the woods, but every object around once came from nature. Even the most artificial project once had a base in a natural substance. For a direct contact, a potted plant, rock, or even looking up to the sky can recharge you with Mother Earth's energy. Step outside and watch the shapes of the clouds... instant recharge!
