What Beings Should I listen to?

I feel really connected to the world most people can’t see. I talk to all kinds of beings and ask them for advice. The thing is, they aren’t helping. Am I doing it wrong? I am trying to be as careful as I can be, but maybe I’m not asking the right questions. I feel like they are all talking, but every being I encounter tells me something different. Who do I listen to?

If you were to ask five friends for advice on a specific situation, would you expect to get five identical answers in return? Why not? Because each person brings to the table a unique set of experiences which color their response. I will let you in on a little secret, the same thing happens beyond the veil.
There are many that believe that living outside of the human realm means that you must be omnipotent, but nothing could be farther from the truth. As we are all evolutionary beings, each learning and growing daily, the advice we can provide is based on the cumulative knowledge we acquire on our journey. And while incorporeal beings have a greater reach in their experiences, especially since many have been in their present state for a long time, it does not mean that they have all the answers. On the contrary, their lack of experience with what it means to be human, to feel human emotions, can sometimes taint the advice they give.
This does not mean that you should discount their teachings, for many of these beings are happy to provide us with much needed knowledge, instead it means that you should think carefully about who you ask what to. Nurture the relationships with beings on different planes, learning not just from them, but about them as well. These friendships should be no different than those you have with people physically around you, a give and take of observation and experience.
Choose which friend, on either side of the veil, to counsel you on a given situation based on your personal relationship with that being. While undines have an incredible amount of knowledge about the water world, being excellent guides on how to purify yourself and flow with your emotions, they are not the ones you go to when you are trying to decide a business merger. Likewise, a dragon may know much about healing and the history of the world, but you must understand that they think in terms of transmutation and have no concept of what it means to live in a physical body.
Understanding the capabilities and limitations of those around you will allow you ask better questions, thus eliciting the answers you seek. Remember, you are creating a community of loved ones to guide and support you on your journey -a precious gift to be cherished!
