Is it possible to maintain the feeling of Oneness in the real world?

I’ve heard much about being with the “Oneness” of the Universe or what ever it may be called. And based on other peoples testimonies it seems like the place to be. Is there a feeling of bliss when your consciousness get’s there…. like an undeniable “this is it” type feeling?
I meditate and feel like I’m closer to a pure consciousness through Theta waves (as well as experience psychic abilities), but its only a state I achieve while meditating, temporary, and achievable only with great focus. Is it possible to bring this consciousness to myself quicker while functioning daily routines in the “real world”?

Indigenous African practices teach that Spirit is a part of everything. From the trees outside to the table in your home, it is all connected to Spirit. Stop for a moment and make a spiritual connection with everything that is around you – that includes your computer, your books, and even the glass you were drinking from. All is a part of Source, all is a part of you, all is a part of the Oneness.
As you go through your day, when you feel disconnected and alone, set your eyes on one object and make a connection to its Spirit. Do this often and soon you will discover that the feeling of connectedness is with you always. Each object will provide you the energy you need to maintain a constant connection to the Universe. Even your daily routines will feed your connection since they, too, are connected to Source.
In an interview about his book “Conversations with God”, Neale Donald Walsch was asked how he maintains the feeling of Oneness. His answer was quite simple, his connection to Source is constant and therefore does not require any effort. Though the journey to get there may seem long, as some point you have to let go and trust that you are connected at every moment. Only then will you realize that the feeling has been with you all along.
