I’m curious about the use of the pineal gland on a metaphysical level. What is the pineal gland used for?

In a biological sense, the pineal gland is a small gland located in the vertebrae brain. It produces melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of wake/sleep patterns. The interesting thing about the pineal gland cells are that they have a strong resemblance to photoreceptor cells in the eye. Some scientists even think that they share common evolutionary ancestors with retinal cells.
This takes us into new realms as to its exact function in the body. What if the pineal gland provides the link between our physical and spiritual worlds? One common belief is that the pineal gland is the point of connection between the intellect and the body. Given the cell makeup, there is evidence that it links the eyes to the third eye, in both a spiritual and physical sense. Exploring from there, you can imagine the connections to be made between our spiritual and physical processes of seeing and feeling.
Many of these theories manifests themselves through the DNA Activation. When you fill the codons with light, you activate the cells of the pineal gland. Biology tells us that when we expose the pineal gland to light, we can set off a reaction that affects circadian rhythms. When you activate this gland, we wake up dormant sections of our physical system and allow them to reconnect to Spirit.
To truly understand the pineal gland, or any other part of our anatomy, we have only to ask our Higher Self for guidance. You may be pointed to a book, website or given an internal message, but the knowledge will manifest. Use external sources for information and then bring them to your guidance for confirmation. Learning how to trust your Higher Self will unlock levels of knowledge you never thought possible.

Is it OK to ask the Universe for Monetary Abundance?

My guidance tells me that it is not only OK to ask the Universe for Monetary Abundance, it is expected. We were put on this earth to manifest in the physical. In order to do that, we must be explicit as to what we want and when we want it. If you feel that in order to complete the next phase of your life purpose you need a new hybrid car and $100,000 to cover your physical expenses for a year, then ask for it. If you feel that in order to build a sustainable home you need solar panels and all the latest technological innovations, then ask for it. If you feel like your body requires a healing session every week in order to feel healthy to do the work you were put here to do, then ask for it….
I’ve often wondered where people got the idea that they are not allowed to ask for wealth, material possessions and the comforts we all dream of. We are beings created to manifest, and part of the way we manifest is by asking the Universe to provide. As long as your intentions are pure, you are willing to do the work necessary to acquire the wealth and how you use your wealth has a positive result, then feel comfortable in asking. Be specific in your ask. Tell the Universe exactly how much you need and why. If it is it your highest and best good, you will receive.

I wish to attain great financial Independence teaching yoga and tai chi classes, and i wish to teach in a serene atmosphere, where the surrounding rooms and people are very quiet and respectful, so that i may most powerfully carry my energy. i wish for my current yoga class, that the noise in the recreation center is peaceful and passive when i am there
this is very important, for my energy to be respected and for my sound to be, silent essentially
and it would bring the highest satisfaction, if I may sustain this life, with a perfect soulmate and lover, wherein we can practice these arts together, and i can see that it is a very good thing
now how shall I ? supposing since I am here, and these things are only dreams, then I am supposed to be here, is there a way to tune into wealth, and be wealthy, so that i am ?

Turn all that you wrote into your daily focus and you will achieve what you seek. The spark has infused you with creativity and you now have your Idea. Pull it down into the next world and begin to Think through what you need in order to find this place of blissful work. Think about areas where it should be located, ways for you to find it, how much it will cost… Let you mind wander through every scenario and once you feel like you have Thought through them all, bring the vibration down one world and begin to make your Plans.
Your Plans are where you think in greater detail. Plan out where you are going to look for this atmosphere; Plan out who you can talk to for references. Make a Plan that includes all the details from finding the space to what you will do once you are working there. Do not leave out any steps. If your Plan is getting too big, then go back to your Thought and break it up into several Thoughts, each with its own Plan.
When the Plan is as complete you can make it, encompassing all that you will need, bring it down to the final world and begin to Act on your plan. Go out and look at places, talk to potential clients, design your advertising… Act out each step. If you run into unforeseen obstacles, go back and reprocess your Thoughts. If you change the Plan or accomplish one part, go back to your Thoughts and see if modifications are necessary.
Continue this process over and over again and you will obtain all you desire. The four worlds always takes you where you want to go, all you have to do is go through each phase: Idea – Thought – Plan – Action… it really is that simple.

How should I start this off?
Well, my name is Marcus and I am 20 years old. I have been contemplating on enlisting in the United States Air Force for quite some time now. I guess my question to you is if I enlist into my country’s military and I was placed into a position where I would have to take someone’s life…… Would that somehow effect my karma or my core being? I do believe that all life is sacred but what if I am placed in a situation where its either my life or his life and I choose to take the latter rather then forfeit my own?
P.S. Something inside of me says that the military could be a bad decision but I just pass those feelings off as being jitters and the fear of leaving my home that I have known for so long. Although, I know that I probably wont make the military a career. I do however believe it will be a good catalyst to launch me in the right direction.

When you go into the military with the right intentions, it can be an honorable profession. The choice to enter is one that takes tremendous courage. In our current world climate, there is a great possibility of seeing combat regardless of your position, so this must be a consideration you weigh heavily when deciding to enlist.
Your question cuts to the root of many fears young men and women have about the armed forces. We speak often of love and the need to end the violence in the world, but we should not deny the fact that there is a time and a place for everything. There are times when a situation is so extreme that it requires an extreme response.
Answering whether taking a life will affect karma truly depends on how you see the greater conflict. In evaluating your core values, do you find that the ideals being fought for are for the greatest good? The most difficult question you are going to tackle is your lack of choice. Once you enter the armed forces, you lose the ability to choose when to act; actions are dictated by your commanders and those of much higher rank. If you feel aligned with their overall philosophy and can support the missions you will be sent on, then move forward comfortably. But if your only reason for entering is to advance your career at the expense of your moral standard, then you may want to listen your internal warning.
As an enlightened being, there is much you can do being a part of the organization. By consciously redirecting energy, you can help bring peaceful solutions where others saw none. You may find that your life purpose takes you into the military so that you can work through your feelings on the necessity of killing. There are many reasons why even if you do not agree with the philosophy, this may be the right choice to make. You should be wary of moving forward until you examine that part of yourself that thinks the military is a bad choice. Only when you confirm that what you are feeling is only the ‘jitters’, can you protect your karma no matter what the situation.

In the last 2 weeks much has come together for me. Things which I have awaited for a year.. work, grievances forgiven and overcome, references, loves, more work, a feeling of goodness, .. just so much good has come in lately..
I am feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes I am so happy I have to be careful with others.
I have plenty of challenges left. I still have not planned my trip to volunteer teach.. job interviews may stretch out again.. I am getting them .. that is good, but knowing when to make the airline reservations is tricky.
So it is deciding between yoga teaching training.. its a 2 week intensive.. and the trip.. What my friend do you think?

There was a time when I feared making a flight reservation too far in advance. I waited patiently for all the signs confirming that everything was solidly in place before clicking “purchase”. The problem was, those signs never came. People don’t get back to you when you expect them to, job interviews take longer than you are told… therefore, I was stuck home instead of out living life. Ultimately, you have to make a decision based on the only thing you can rely on, yourself.
A teaching intensive can be great for your career, but if your heart is set on volunteering, are you really going to focus on what you are learning? Conversely, would you enjoy your volunteering if you are constantly thinking about the training you are missing? Set aside the external factors for a minute and just listen to what your inner guidance is telling you is best at this time. If you are meant to do them both, opportunities will materialize in the future.
Once you understand what you desire, add back all the mitigating factors, one at a time, and double check that your choice still feels right. By the time you are done, you will not only have your answer, you will truly enjoy it because your decision process balanced your wants and needs. Whatever you decide, feel confident that it will take you where you need to go… and you’ll probably have some fun on your way there.

Dear Binah.
I’m writing as much to get clear on my own thoughts as i am to request an answer or some guidance.
I’ve been struggling to get clear on what it is I love, or to put it better, what it is I must do during my brief sojourn on this planet. My interests and callings seem to dance around a few general broad themes (the embodying of acceptance; facilitation; counseling others; writing meaning into the world, and so on) but I can’t seem to find one pure and powerful purpose, nor can I hear any specific demand from the larger universe. Am I not listening in the right way?
Some days I wonder whether my task is merely to accept the fact that the world does not need me to do or to be anything, but this presents its own set of challenges, and I don’t know how to even begin to tackle them. Do you have any insight or direction to offer? How do I know I am not squandering my life?

Let me start with an affirmation:
I am on this planet to fulfill my purpose and each day I am aligned with all I must do.
Finding your purpose can be a challenge when you are good at so much. You sit in the middle of all your talents and wonder, “How can I possibly use these to make a difference in the world?” What you should never forget is that each talent was given to you in order to fulfill your purpose. Learn to discern which one must be used when, for they are not all meant to be used at once. Do not be afraid to set aside a talent when you are called in a different direction. Leave behind that which is not currently serving you – place it in your toolbox to be used when the time is right.
Movies and books have done a great service in opening our eyes to the unseen world, but they have also done the disservice of making us feel like all events happen in grandiose, cinematic proportions. While it is true that there are those that wake up with a burning sense of what they are on this planet to accomplish, for most of us, it is a subtle message that changes based on our daily choices.
There is no wrong way to listen to the universe as long as you are open to her moments of loud chatter as well as her silence. Even when you cannot hear her, she is there supporting your decisions and providing guiding energy – flow with her. You are here to walk your unique path. It encompasses all that you have been, all that you are and all that you are becoming. Release your attachment to a ‘pure and powerful’ message that comes with a booming Hollywood voice straight from the heavens… you may find that the universe speaks louder when you are not listening so hard.

I also seem to be caught up in a “negative vortex”. One thing after another to the breaking point. During the last 6 months, my mother died while we were on a long-anticipated trip, 2 car accidents, speeding ticket, blown up computer. These are just the big items. There are daily events that are hindering me as well – absent mindedness and disorganization. What can I do to clear the negative and bring something positive around me?

My condolences on the loss of your mother. If you feel like she has not safely passed into the light, I encourage you to tell her verbally that you are doing well and it is time she move on. If you feel like she is stuck, consult a professional. A connection to an earthbound-dead spirit could be the cause of some of what has happened.
In scanning your immediate surroundings, I believe that it is not negativity you are feeling, but a change in your level of vibration. Often times, when we are downloading a large amount of energy, we can disrupt the fields around us. Downloads are how the Hierarchy of Light infuses you with new knowledge or provides instructions for an initiation received. What may look like chaos, is really just a misalignment between your energy and that of the objects around you.
Over time, the energy will settle and the absent mindedness and disorganization will dissipate. Until then, be conscious that you are shifting in energy and allow yourself quiet time where you can integrate the changes. To realign the energy of your physical objects, go up to each one, place your hands on it, and consciously feel yourself raise its vibration to meet yours. If you feel like there is any resistance, smudge or use cleansing incense such as Palo Santo or Nag Champa to clear out any last remaining negativity. By sharing your energy with your car, computer and every other object you interact with frequently, you will ensure that it is prepared to handle your new rate of vibration.
After all that, if there is any negativity left, I have no doubt that it will be easily manageable. The way you worded your question tells me that you have been actively clearing out negativity in your life. Though you may feel like you are in a “negative vortex”, there is light seeping in from every corner. Continue looking for positivity, and it will find you.
