What does it take to discover true awakening?

December 17, 2012

13 Diciembre 2011 - 13 December 2011Any spiritual tool can work, but it is  just a spark to get the engine going. In order to see lasting results, you have to do something with that spark, you have to constantly give the motor fuel so that it can take you where you want to go. For this, I recommend you start trying different things until you find the one you feel you can study in depth.

For example, I have chosen Kabbalah, Sacred Geometry and Esoteric Physics. These three things which I study continuously, giving me access to a series of spiritual tools that I use daily. Flower essences, essential oils, pendulums, Selfica… they are all tools, but the root of the knowledge comes from the three fields of research I listed above.

I have friends that study and practice Reiki, the way I study Kabbalah. Others that study psychology, wicca, druidism, hermetic philosophy, religion… all can take you where you need to go, but you have to stick with it. You have to use it for EVERYTHING! From a knee ache, to your desire to find a new job…

If you apply what you study to every part of your life, you will discover true awakening.

Liberate yourself now – the world may be ending this month

December 13, 2012

After flying around the United States from one extreme to the other, I have been back home in Damanhur for a non-stop two weeks. There are so many people I wish to thank for their hospitality and generosity this last trip, it is truly an honor and blessing to have such an incredible international community!

Getting into your pastA special round of thanks to Dana Stream and Samadhi Yoga for hosting my presentation in Seattle – Ada Novak and Laya Center, a Sanctuary for Women in S. Florida for the heroic efforts putting together an incredible week of activities – Esperide Ananas for sharing her Damanhurian and Tree wisdom with us – Teresa Payne for hosting me in Seattle – my Mother for being the best Mom a girl could ask for – and all my friends and family that I got to spend time with. For those that I missed this time around, read on because you may be seeing me sooner than you think!

December brings Epagomenoi, those spectacular days outside of time when you can break away from the past and begin new projects. In these days, inspiration fills me with new ideas, obstacles are trivial to overcome and I am bursting with the energy to create. Thanks to this special energy, I have new irons in the fire which will bring more of me, Damanhur and Practical Spirituality to you (yes Mark, I am working on books… you will hear from me soon)!

So what are these special projects?

Let’s start with the most transformational: Tigrilla!

What? Huh? What is Tigrilla? At Damanhur, when citizens feels ready, they can conquer a new name. You conquer an animal name first, then a few years later you can take on a plant last name. We take on new names to change frequency, to evolve, to align ourselves with characteristics we want to embrace in life. We also do it to give of ourselves to the species. Read more about why Damanhurians take on new names.

Tigrilla has excellent night visionA name is a big responsibility, especially if you choose an animal or plant that is endangered. As many of you know, I have never had a nickname. When I was a kid, I tried, but none of them stuck. In some cases, this was a good thing, given that some of the names thrown at me were not very kind. Now I am ready to take on a name of my own choosing, and I choose Tigrilla: Leopardus tigrinus, little spotted cat or tiger cat, a relative of the ocelot. Why Trigrilla? Because she is agile and lives in the trees, something I feel very connected to. You can read more about Tigrilla and see pictures by clicking here.

To conquer this name, I have to get the support of at least 100 damanhurians who think this name is right for me, which consists of a monetary contribution or hours of community service. If you think Tigrilla is the name for me, you can be a part of the process as well: I would also like to get the support of 50 friends and family. To support me, you can send me a contribution via paypal to yvette@eternallightenergy.com (most people give between 5 or 10 [pick your favorite currency] or you can offer me 1 to 5 hours of community service, to be done at the location of your choosing! Gifts will be offered to Damanhur and the Temples of Humankind.

What other projects does Tigrilla have up her sleeves?

Mandala healingToo many to count! Some that may interest are the updating of courses, both my own and Damanhurian. I plan to travel quite a bit in 2013, assuming the world is still around, so if you are interested in Practical Spirituality techniques, building community, reawakening past lives memories, learning to read the signs, stone spirals… contact me. Seattle, WA – Las Cruces, NM/El Paso, TX – Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, FL – London, England are all on my agenda, and I am always open for more.

PLUS… You can come to Damanhur… I am working on special packages for those that wish to experience the wonder and magic of this unique place: Temples, a village of Tree Houses, sustainable living, art, singing plants, and more!! For example, you can check out this auction for 2 One Day visits and a night’s stay which supports Evolver Network and Reality Sandwich. More opportunities like this coming soon.

Wishing you a glorious holiday season.
May this month bring transformation and growth
and a 2013 free of attachments and full of inspiration!

Blessings
-yvette –> hoping to become Tigrilla

Is it possibile to find happiness?

December 10, 2012

Breathtaking mountainsOnce upon a time, there was a beautiful boy that sat atop a mountain overlooking a valley. By his side was a beautiful book and a bag filled with something he believed was too important to open until the time was right. For years he sat on the mountain thinking only of the bag, thinking it was filled with jewels and elixirs that would give him eternal life and happiness. He spent so much time thinking of the bag, that he forgot all about the book.

One day, when he was old and grey, a traveler came up the mountain. He asked the man about the book, which had been sitting there unopened for years. The man gave the traveler the book, not thinking of its value since his dream had always been the bag. The traveler thanked him profusely and went on his way.

A few years later, as the man was dying. The traveler returned. The man didn’t recognize him because he was covered in jewels and surrounded by people that would take care of everything for him. The traveler told the man that thanks to the book, he had discovered the secret to a happy and fulfilled life in service. He was now a well-loved king, had everything he could want in live, and most of all, he was happy. The traveler had come to thank the man and offer him anything he wanted.

The man wanted only one thing, to know what was inside the bag. The traveler had planned for this and had found the person that gave the man the bag, getting the required permission to open its contents. In the bag, he found one small jewel and a vile filled with a murky liquid. The liquid had once been the elixir of life, but the man had waited so long that now it was little more than dirty water. Had he opened it years before, he would have found eternal happiness. The man broke down in tears, for he had lost both the knowledge within the book and the elixir, either of which could have brought him happiness had he used them.

The moral of the story is that there are many ways in order to find personal happiness, the important thing is to use and appreciate them. Open the book you have and read the words given, or give away the book and open the bag… the choice is yours.

Sustainable Inspirations from Damanhur in Seattle and S. Florida

November 14, 2012

Let the feast begin!Greetings from Seattle!

After about 20 hours in airports and airplanes, I finally made it to Seattle. Hard to believe I have been away for so long. First stop, the Crab Pot with friends to recharge with an overabundance of seafood!

Last week, I was speaking to my Seattle friends about getting together this week to share some of the things I’ve learned while living in community. The more we talked about it, the more we realized that a small gathering was not enough. There are so many people that want to learn about community building that we decided to put together a presentation.

On Thursday, November 15th, join us at Samadhi Yoga for an interactive presentation to learn about the structure of community life, including the Damanhur constitution, nucleo homes, educational system, and more. We will begin with the showing of a video which describes many of the aspects of Damanhur’s communal living and shows the Temples of Humankind, followed by an open Question and Answer period to cover all aspects that are of interest to the audience. I have brought with me a suitcase full of books, CDs, Selfic devices and other goodies to share. I will even have a Selfic painting for those that want to learn about the more esoteric sides of the community and the work being done to orient trees around the world. Click here for details.

Selfica for mind, body and soulNext week, I take the Selfic painting and what’s left of my Damanhurian goodies and join Esperide Ananas from Damanhur in S. Florida.

With Esperide’s spheroself and Selfic painting in hand, we will start the week orienting trees as part of the Global Tree Project. I am ridiculously excited about doing this in my home town. Ever since I first heard of this project, I have been wanting to orient the large Banyon Trees in Coral Gables. Orienting the trees in S. Florida will allow for a new connection to nature, something that I feel has been missing for quite some time.

After Thankgiving, we begin a weekend of Damanhurian knowledge at Laya Center. Friday the 23rd, a Dynamic Selfic Meditation where Esperide will help us connect with these intelligent energies through action and play… meditation has never been so much fun!

Saturday and Sunday, an intimate group will spend the weekend remembering their past lives. Through art and play, you will be taken through a series of exercises to reawaken the memories to one of your many lives. The class is currently full, but if you are interested in participating in this the next time we are in town, please contact Ada at the Laya Center to be added to the waiting list.

It is going to be a crazy two weeks, but I am committed to do all I can to share with you all the spiritual tools I have acquired. Given my busy schedule, Esperide and I will have limited time for individual appointments.

If you are in another part of the country
and are interested in hosting an event like the ones listed above,
email me for information.

I hope to see you very soon.

Are you stuck in a job you hate or a life you wish to change?

September 28, 2012

DespairIt is 2012, we are rapidly approaching the end of the year, and I am struggling to find the words to convey all that I wish to express. The truth is, I see people stuck in jobs they hate and lives they wish to change. I see beautiful people that have the opportunity to give so much to this world, but don’t know how. I see people like you, doing what you can to create the life you really want, but not having the tools to do it.

And yet, when the tools are placed before you, something keeps you from taking them and putting them into use in your daily life. To be perfectly honest, it makes me want to cry… no, to really be honest, it makes me cry.

Why, you ask? Because I know you can do it. I know you can transform into the person you want to be. I know because I did it. I know because I have seen people around me do it. I know because the tools exists and they work, but you have to use them.

Below are the course I am offering with Ada from Laya Center. Ada is one of those people that did it… a person that used all her spiritual tools to transform her life and open the center she has always dreamed of having. It has been a rough few years, but those years have also been filled with incredible triumphs and the pure joy that comes from knowing you are on your path. Ada is a student, a teacher, a mother, a godess… she has found her passion and reached incredible heights that surpass what she ever thought possible.

So here I am before you with a dilemma. I am scheduled to come back to S. Florida in November with an incredible person from Damanhur, the spiritual, artistic ecocommunity where I live, to introduce the world of Selfica and help you reawaken talents by understanding your Past Lives, but Ada tells me that there is a fear to commit to the course this far in advance.

How can that be?

In this time of global crisis, with the awakening in full swing, how can we be afraid of filling our spiritual toolbox with more tools that can help us through this transformational period?

How can you be afraid of discovering who you were

in order to become who you are meant to be?

I truly hope that it is not true, I hope that you are ready to take another step into the fire in order to purify what no longer serves and LIVE YOUR TRUE SELF!

If you need anything, I am here to serve.

Past livesDamanhur in Florida

Past Lives 2 day workshop

Based on the ritual research of a specialist group of Damanhur’s Way of the Oracle along the time lines, this workshop gives you the key to trace back those lives which are most significant for your present incarnation.

Damanhur has been researching this field for over 30 years. Little by little, in a safe, profound, fun and harmonious way you will remember one or more past lives, feeling these parts of you come to life again along with their gifts, points of view, experiences and challenges. Through various artistic games and activities, you will become aware that you are a “time being”, and your divine essence is not linked to linear time. Learn more

SpheroselfDynamic Meditation with Selfica

Through Selfica, it is possible to create devices based on the spiral form and metals, colors, special inks and minerals that act as conduits for “intelligent” energies, border forces that act as intermediaries between different planes of existence. The interaction of a Self with individuals is based upon reciprocal advantage. The ‘intelligent’ energy of the Selfic structure selects, harmonizes and amplifies the most useful energetic frequencies to carry out the functions for which it was built.

In Damanhur philosophy, you meditate in action and play.

Join us for an evening of meditation in action through Selfic play!

Gratitude for a community that knows there is more beyond

April 19, 2012

Magic is every dayIt has been a long time since I posted a blog. When I began my journey at Damanhur, I felt it was important to give myself space to become a full-fledged student again. This required putting aside all my teaching for a period of time in order to fully immerse myself in this world and decide if it was something I wanted to incorporate in my life.

At the beginning of 2012, I decide that it was time to slowly start merging my life as a teacher back into my life as a student. Many of the things I have learned at Damanhur have complimented and enhanced that which I have been teaching and studying for many years. A few need(ed) time to work through my body-mind-spirit, taking a bit of that and seeing how it fit into a model I thought I understood. I have had some profound experiences in the Temples of Humankind, exploring new modalities, walking circuits and participating in ritual, adding more spiritual tools to my overflowing toolboxes. Everyday I have the ability to manifest my spirituality in daily life via life in community, something that brings me immense joy!

I was talking to a friend today about her experiences as a child. She is extremely open energetically, and has a gift for helping others cross over from this life to the next. She has been astral traveling and sensing the energies of others all her life, often times without control. As a child, this caused her great pain because her family did not, and still does not, understand nor fully accept that her episodes are a result of something beyond this world. She was sent from one doctor to another, checking her for all types of physical and psychological issues. In the end, she was lucky to find Damanhur, which provided her a loving community in which she could openly talk about all she was experiencing and begin to construct a new life.

This friend has a lovely little boy who is also very open energetically. While he often struggles with working through all that he is absorbing, he has a supportive network of people that can help him both energetically, through spiritual tools, as well as emotionally. In talking about all of this with my friend, I was reminded of how fortunate we are to have created a global community where we can talk openly about our experiences, where we can explore free of judgment or labels, where energy flows from this plane to the next and back again.

It is this gratitude that propels me to write again, to share my story and those of others. It is easy to forget that there are people in the world that do not have this level of support, where seeing a being from another dimension is called a disease instead of a gift. I encourage all of you to share your stories, either online or by word of mouth. When you tell another person about your gifts and experiences, you often find that they have similar stories to share, but were often too afraid to tell them.

Living in a primarily Catholic Country, I am reminded of just how repressed, lonely and scared people can be when they feel that they are struggling with something that no one else understands. What to many of us are gifts we use every day, for them are terrifying powers with negative connotations. The more open we are about our experiences, the more people see that what they are living is a blessing — something to be treasured and nurtured. Any time you have an opportunity, I encourage you to share your story, you never know how many people one story can help.

Blessings of love and light from Italy!

How to Live Consciously

December 3, 2011

From the Eternal Light Energy Facebook fanpage:

Q&A Time: On Monday night at Laya Center – A Woman’s Sanctuary, we talked about Living Consciously. There were many questions coming up about Damanhur Spiritual EcoCommunity, how to bring community into your life, and how to use spirituality and metaphysics in your daily life. I’d like to open a platform here to continue that discussion. If you have a question, ask away!

Robert Gray

I was a product of my past I am trying to overcome that less than compassionate rather traumatic life! I see many things that would make my life better but am stuck ! How do I end the procrastination and melancholy!

yvette Soler replies:

Great question Robert! There are many techniques for manifesting abundance, but all have the same initial requirement: to act! But for many of us, taking that first step is the hardest. Even when you take the first step, continuing on the path can often be hard.

For me, instead of thinking of the big goal or project, I think about the next step I can take. Even if you procrastinate until the very last minute, when you do take a step forward, stop and allow yourself to savor the victory. Celebrate each step as if it is the biggest accomplishment in the world. If you don’t take a step when you thought you would, instead of lamenting it, forgive yourself and ask what you need in order to take it and celebrate it once you do. You can’t go back in time, so there is no use worrying about what was not done, all you can do is remove the obstacles before you one small victorious step at a time!
